Lecture Maasmechelen part 1:
Your personality is like a ladder

This piece is about how to be sunny; the struggle to become original; the Divine being present in your life; choosing for inspiration and how your personality is like a ladder enabling you to reach your heart.

Lecture Maasmechelen part 2:
Where lies my happiness?

In this video: we sometimes let our own happiness be too easily disturbed by other people or things. We don't have to wait until they are loving; it’s better to take the first step ourselves. On days when we can maintain our inner peace, we are less affected by the world around us. You can set yourself free when you let go of expectations. There is a power in your heart that can handle anything.

Lecture Maasmechelen part 3:
How do I handle my problems? (EXERCISE focused thinking)

In this video: A short but very effective exercise to do during those 'lost moments' in your life. To try to see what is really there and to take one thing in your life and involve love with that. Don’t look at all your problems as one, because then you won’t know where to start; keep the problems separate and look at them one at a time. About learning to choose to do things differently; about concrete love and going beyond action-reaction patterns.

Lecture Maasmechelen part 4:
A wonderful future

In this video: Master Morya asks us not to be self-critical and not to compare the 'now' with 'a day in the distant future'. Each of us has a tremendous strength within; with our free choice we can also choose to slow ourselves down and push ourselves down, but if you do this too often, you will forget the meaning of your life. The Divine has a wonderful place for each of us in Its loving Plan. When you give importance to your life, your life becomes important. Honesty can break through your limitations. If you do the exercise from the previous video (M3), you will gradually learn that you are strong and you’ll realize: 'I can handle my life'.

Lecture Maasmechelen part 5:
Dialogue with the Divine

In this video: You can initiate a dialogue with the Divine yourself. God is a hidden power, which may also remain hidden in our lives. Our hearts asks us to make a leap of faith, it asks us, "Do you believe in yourself? Then prove it!" Love is not pedantic and does not demand anything in return. If you find yourself suffocating in life, take some time for yourself.

Lecture Maasmechelen part 6:
Inspiration = Concentration + Calm (EXERCISE to do during routine)

In this video: Try to become physically calm when doing routine work. Do things with concentration and at your own pace. That way you can bathe in a kind of inner luxury. By combining a light concentration with inner calm, you make roomfor inspiration. In this way you automatically gain more insight into: 'what do I find is important in my life?' and you can use the otherwise pointless moments of your life to get closer to yourself.

Lecture Maasmechelen part 7:
MEDITATION for confidence

In this video: A two-minute meditation that creates confidence and trust.

Lecture Maasmechelen part 8:
EXERCISE: Bringing thoughts to your heart

In this video: A DIY exercise from the Morya Basic Workbook (Morya Basiswerkboek) that makes it easy to stop mulling and worrying. Thoughts have the habit of running in circles, but this process actually costs us a lot of energy. A simple daily exercise in which we bring some thoughts or emotions to our hearts one by one, relieves us from tension and gives us insight into solutions, sometimes immediately, sometimes a while later.

Lecture Maasmechelen part 9:
Hope and challenges in the New Era

In this video: someone in the audience makes the remark that Master Morya's wisdom is not at all outdated (although some of his books have been around for more than 20 years). That is true, because Master Morya spoke ahead of his time. The problem today is the lack of values in our society. The New Era is not something that will come by way of a revolution; it comes about gradually. Don't look up to others and don't look down on others, then you'll find your way.

Lecture Maasmechelen part 10:
When you are sad ...

In this video: a nice quote on sadness and being sad.

Lecture Maasmechelen part 11:
About karma, enlightenment and the patience of love

In this video: Karma is an iron law, but it is neither a punishment nor a penance. It is a form of love meant to awaken our consciousness. Karma is a wheel that I bind myself to by doing selfish things. Light is consciousness and to be enlightened is to be fully conscious. What happens to the deceased? God invented time in order to give us time. The seed of love is in everyone's heart. When you start to believe in yourself, you open the gate to happiness.
